Chocolate and Pecan French Toast Rolls

These Vegan French Toast rolls make a gorgeous and indulgent breakfast. Filled with vegan chocolate and topped with pecan nuts make a very special start to the day.

Chocolate and Pecan French Toast Rolls


Cut the crusts off the bread and roll flat with a rolling pin.

Coat one side off each slice with the chocolate spread.

Roll into cylinders with the chocolate spread on the inside.

Mix all the batter ingredients together in a shallow bow.

Soak the Rolls in the batter.

Heat a small pan with 2Tbsp of vegan butter.

Add the rolls to the pan and lightly brown on all sides.

Top with the pecans and serve with strawberr


6 slices of bread of your choice (not too thick )

Vegan Chocolate spread

1/4 cup pecan nuts

2Tbsp vegan butter

Strawberries for garnish

For the batter

1/2 cup plant-based milk.

1Tbsp ground flaxseed/linseed the finer the better.

1Tbsp Maple syrup.

1/2 tsp cinnamon.

A few drops of vanilla.
