Overnight Breakfast Oats

For anyone that hasn’t been introduced to overnight oats. This is such a great healthy breakfast that you make the night before. May be we should call them make them “The night before oats.”
We made ours with a little agave and sugar free Alpro yogurt.

Overnight Breakfast Oats


First make your fruit compote

Add your frozen fruit and sugar (or agave) to a pan

Gently simmer until the sugar has dissolved and the fruit has softened.

Remove for the heat and allow to cool.

Taste and adjust and add sugar as necessary

Layer your oats in a glass allowing the oats to soak up some of the yogurt and fruit.

Cover and refrigerate over night.


1 cup Oats

640g non dairy yogurt

500g frozen mixed summer berries

85g sugar or 1-2 Tbsp agave
